 Model LP 601/603 optical parametric oscillators produced by SOLAR LS combine high output energy and a widest tuning range with exceptionally easy maintenance and increased reliability.

The design of the OPO is developed taking into account the requirements of the End Users and, unlike similar devices in the market, the LP601/603 OPO laser have high reliability and are easy to use. Their main advantage is very low pump power operating densities. Due to the original optical scheme the specified parameters are obtained even at very low pump intensities. As a result, the crystals and other optics operate for a long time without any damage. This feature in combination with precision optics holders and dust-proof design ensure a highest reliability and long-term stability of output radiation parameters.

Optical design of the OPO ensures highly efficient conversion even when pumped by conventional multi-mode Nd:YAG lasers. The Customer does not have to buy or use complex TEM00 or SLM pump lasers which considerably reduces the operational and maintenance expenses. That is why the LP601/603 OPO are affordable and attractive for each User. Besides, super-compact design of the OPO saves place on your optical table and allows to easily integrate it into any laser system.

The LP601 and LP603 OPO have extremely wide tuning range from 410 nm to 2500 nm. Mirror or polarisation wavelength separators are used for efficient spectral separation of the signal and idler waves.

In addition to the standard configurations of tunable systems based on the OPO, SOLAR LS also develops and supplies customized tunable laser systems to meet specific Users’ requirements.

Harmonic Generators

To expand the tuning range in the UV the LP603 OPO can be supplemented with the LG350 external second harmonic generator.

When the LG350 is used together with the LP603 OPO, the wavelength can be tuned in the UV spectral range from 210 nm to 420 nm.

PC control

To integrate the OPO in to automated systems we have foreseen the possibility of installation of PC-controlled stepping motors. Such an option presupposes supply of the OPO laser together with the controller and appropriate software.
