Original optical scheme and design of the LX329 laser embodies more than 20-years experience of SOLAR LS engineers in the field of developing solid-state tuneable laser systems.

Tuneable LX329 laser offers a wide tuning range, narrow linewidth, high pulse energy, stability of all the parameters in a reliable and convenient-to-operate design.

The unique optical scheme “oscillator – double-pass amplifier” together with supplementary matching optics between the oscillator and amplifier ensure excellent beam quality at the LX329 output: Gaussian beam profile and low divergence. This allows to efficiently convert laser radiation into the UV range and use it for various nonlinear optical applications. High efficiency of the laser operation and harmonics generation is realised at relatively low pump intensities which increases operational reliability of the laser and long-term stability of the LX329 parameters.

The LX329 Ti:Sapphire Laser incorporates a spectral separation system of the fundamental and second harmonic beams which allows the User to quickly change the operating wavelength range without removing the laser upper cover and performing any additional adjustments.

For your convenience, the LX329 Ti:Sapphire Laser is supplied together with the LQ929B pump laser the parameters of which are specially optimised for such applications. Both the lasers are fixed on a common rigid mounting frame that ensures strict mutual orientation of the devices and mobility of the laser system.

For quick diagnostics and independent using of pump laser radiation, the laser system foresees the possibility of prompt extraction of 532 nm beam beyond the laser system.

In addition to the standard configurations of tuneable systems based on the LX329, SOLAR LS also develops and supplies customised tuneable laser systems to meet specific Users’ requirements.

Harmonic Generators

In the standard configuration the LX329 can be supplied with built-in SHG. Upon your request the laser can be supplemented with the LG312 external THG and/or FHG.

Fabry-Perot interferometer

For generating radiation with output linewidth less than 5 pm, we have foreseen the possibility of intracavity Fabry-Perot interferometer installation.

PC control

To integrate the LX329 into automated systems we have foreseen the possibility of installation of stepping PC-controlled motors. Such an option presupposes supply of the LX329 laser together with the controller and appropriate software.
